Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahi wasallam) with his Children

✿ When Fatima, his daughter, visited him at his house the Prophet (sallallahu alahi wasallam) would take her hand, kiss her and make her to sit next to him. She did the same when he visited her.
[Tirmidhi]

✿ Aisha (radi allahu anha) said, “A nomad once told Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahi wasallam), “you kiss the children and we never do!” Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alahi wasallam) said, “Has Allah withdrawn mercy out of your hearts?” Meaning that he who has mercy in his heart for children drives him to kiss them. And he who gets mercy withdrawn from his heart withholds from kissing them.
[ Bukhari and Muslim]

✿ Al-Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “I saw the Prophet of Allah (sallallahu alahi wasallam) carrying Al-Hassan on his shoulder, saying, “Oh Allah! I love him so love him.”
[ Bukhari , Muslim, and Tirmidhi]

✿ The Prophet (sallallahu alahi wasallam) carried Umama , his grand-daughter, the daughter of his daughter, Zainab, while praying. He put her down gently when he prostrated.
[ Bukhari ]

✿ Amr Ibn Sa`id reported that `Anas said, “I have never met one more merciful with children. He also said, “Ibrahim (the Prophet’s son) was being breastfed by a wet nurse in a village on the outskirts of Madinah. He (the Prophet) used to rush to enter the house with smoke coming out of it (the wet nurse’s husband was a metal smith). The Prophet would take his grandson, kiss him, and then return him. So when Ibrahim died, the Prophet said, “Ibrahim is my son. He died while still suckling. Verily, he will have two wet nurses to breastfeed him in Paradise.” Meaning they will complete his two-year weaning period, as he died at sixteen or seventeen months of age.”

this story was presented for the first time in an Arabic Islamic program, it brought tears to everyone who heard it... it is so touching, it's about true LOVE and true Jihad!! it's little bit long, so plz give few minutes of your time to read it, it really worth it, jazakallah khair

A Muslim sent his true love story by e-mail to an Islamic program, this is his story as it was told by the sheikh who presented that program:
"I knew her since she was a 13 years old girl, she used to came to visit her father in jail. I was a 20 years old young man (I was in jail with her father because we used to make Dawah and invite people to Jihad). To me, she was just a little innocent girl.
As the day passed, she became a young lady ready for marriage, and her father asked if I would marry her. In that time I didn’t say anything because I was behind bars.
After that, I was released from jail. I've never forgotten her father's suggestion. I talked to my mother about it. She refused; she wanted me to marry my cousin who, according to her, would make me forget the “dangerous” life I am living. I told her: "Mother, I want a wife who helps me and be with me in this path I've chosen: the path of Dawah and Jihad". She finally accepted.
The next day, I went to the girl, looked deep into her eyes. She lowered her gaze shyly. I asked her: “will you accept to be my wife?”
She replied: “My father accepted you already, so I accept too"
I warned her:"The time I'll spend behind bars will be more than the time I'll spend with u"
"this is why I accepted to be your wife" she replied
I said: -"I'm Being Chased"
- "why?"
- " because I am following the right path"
- "so don't you ever leave that path"
- "they may execute me"
- "Why?"
- "because I say my Lord is Allah!"
- “Your way is mine, and you will precede me to heaven"
- “My mother doesn't love you"
- “I will be patient"
So I said:"I rely on Allah"
Then we signed the marriage-contract (Akdul Nikah)
I told her:"I don't know any words of love!"
she said:"Your eyes say million of words to me"
- "we still at the beginning of the road, it's not too late. My life is so hard".
- "we are in the middle of the road and I love your life"
- "We will face many hardships" I said
- "Who else can face them with you other than me?!!"She replied
Then we got married. After few months, she got pregnant. We were so happy! One day, they came to take me to jail. I saw tears in her eyes… I said" I told you this will happen!"
She said: "I feel that your chains are around my neck! Stay on the right path and be strong".
They put me in a jail far from home. She came to visit me in prison every day. Between visits, she used to come and try to see me even from a distance.
I told her once:"You're pregnant, you must take some rest!"
"I find my rest when I am with you" She replied.
She visited me one day and told me that she lost our baby. I told her that it was the will of Allah. After a period of time, I was released from jail. As day passed, we couldn't have other children, she knew that she will never be a mother in her life.
"Remarry" she said to me once. I didn't reply, she repeated "marry a second wife!"
I replied: "and who told you I didn't!"
She was shocked, and she asked me in a hoarse voice:"Since when have you’ve been married?!"
"Before our marriage and I have a lot of children" I replied
"Are you joking!" she asked. I replied "I swear to Allah I married "Dawah", all its children are mine"
She said:"Then I will raise them with you"
One day, I came to her and told her: “My beloved I got a job contract, we will travel to other country and leave anxiety and fear behind.”
She looked at me and said: "I didn't follow you for that!"
I asked : "Then for what?"
She replied:" For Jihad, trials and patience"
I felt that my love for her increased
After that, they came and took me to prison once again. I said:"this time, I may stay in jail for longer time, so I will divorce you"
"No don't! I wish I was in your place" she replied
Every time she visited me, I noticed she became more and more thin and pale. When I asked her about it she said it was because of her concern about me. She had a fatal disease. She didn't tell me and she didn't stop visiting me.
I really hated the chains which was depriving me from touching her hand! I told her once: "Uncover your face, I want to see it"
she replied: "I can't, people are looking to us"
but she was hiding the truth…
One day, she came to me in an unusual visit time. The jail guardian was so kind with me, as if he was hiding something from me. They took off the chains from my hands
"Finally they took off my chains, finally I can touch your hand and see you face… But,your face changed, it has no features!" I felt so much pain, I asked :"what's wrong?"
she replied:"You have the right to know, I have no much time left in this Dunya. Are you pleased with me?" Then she told me the truth. I felt rage, I cried and asked : "Why am I the last person to know this?" She replied:"Why would I put you in such pain by telling you? I came here today to ask you for your satisfaction, I don't know if I will see you again"
She took my hand and said: "You can make it, you are a strong man! may Allah grant you a better wife "
I couldn't say a word, I couldn't see! I was swallowing my hot tears… then she disappeared. At the same day, I heard she was gone. Her weak body couldn’t stand the long and hard trip to jail.
This time the trial was really harsh! They let me attend her funeral in which I hardly moved, I walked as an old man. Her brother put a letter from her in my hand. In her letter, she advised me to be patient and she gave me a list of names of potential wives whom she had chosen for me. I ripped the letter and then I went back to my cell....

END OF STORY

This is how sacrifice for the sake of Allah should be..
